劉津瑜

劉津瑜

劉津瑜,女,德堡大學教授。1989年入南京大學文科強化班,選讀歷史,1993年獲得學士學位,1996年獲得碩士學位。1998年至2004年在哥倫比亞大學歷史系和古典系學習,主攻羅馬史。2004年獲得博士學位之後,在德堡大學(DePauw University)的古典系任教。

中文名 劉津渝 劉津瑜 拼音 Jinyu Liu
2007-2008年學術休假期間在紐約大學古代世界研究中心任訪問學者。目前為德堡大學古典學副教授、獲終身教職(tenure), 2013年起任古典系主任。所授課程主要為羅馬史、古代城市研究、各級拉丁文和希臘文課程(包括高級拉丁語原文閱讀)。研究興趣集中在羅馬城市內部社會關係、羅馬帝國下層民眾的生活、拉丁銘文學。以博士論文為基礎的學術專著由Brill出版社2009年出版,研究帝國西部的紡織行業的社團、行會組織。所用的主要史料為200多個拉丁碑銘。自1998年以來在數十個歐美及國內學術會議上宣讀過論文。所發表的文章多與銘文、羅馬社會經濟史特別是羅馬帝國境內的結社現象有關。目前得到美國梅隆(Mellon)人文基金的資助研究希臘羅馬作品在中國的歷程。 2011年至2013年學術休假。2011-2012年北京大學歷史系新創辦的西方古典學中心任教訪學。2012-2013年在哥倫比亞大學任訪問學者。
