主要從事納米功能材料及貯能材料的開發研究:
研究內容包括:(1)不同電性無機層狀化合物的剝離反應新技術及無機納米層重組過程規律性研究。通過插入反應、離子交換、溶劑潤濕等手段,實現不同構造無機層狀化合物的膨潤乃至剝離;(2)利用剝離得到的不同電性金屬氧化物納米層互動積層複合反應,組裝超級電容器用納米電極材料,期待納米電極材料具有快速的電荷存貯和電化學反應雙重特性,開發無機納米層複合組裝製備納米超級電容器用電極材料新技術,實現超級電容器的大容量、高功率及高能量密度;(3)以金屬氧化錳為主體材料,利用鑄型插入反應及高溫高壓處理等技術,通過控制氧化錳材料的晶相和形貌,製備大比表面積、高熱穩定性、介孔新型多孔氧化錳結晶材料,篩選適合超級電容器用電極材料,達到改善超級電容器循環穩定性及能量密度等問題。在研科技項目有國家863計畫項目,國家自然科學基金項目,何崇本能源新材料及技術研究中心課題項目及省市科研項目總計8項。先後在國外重要學術刊物如《Chemistry of Materials》、《Carbon》、《Journal of Power Sources》、《Langmuir》等SCI源期刊發表原創性研究論文60餘篇,獲日本國發明專利3項及中國發明專利2項。
