作者介紹
赫伯特·胡佛(Herbert Hoover) 美國第31任總統。胡佛生於愛荷華州,畢業於史丹福大學,早年曾是一名採礦工程師。曾先後擔任美國救濟委員會主席、美國糧食總署署長,並於1929年出任美國總統。
胡佛一生著作16本,其中《回憶錄》三部:《冒險年代》《當選總統》《大蕭條》。《威爾遜總統的考驗》,也曾是當時的暢銷書。
