1.3 Read the descriptions and match them with the performance terms discussed above.
1) The reason I choose to be a book keeper is that I think this career could take me to all sectors of the industry of finance. Also, with more experience, I may be able to gain work in high profile finance companies.
2) Most companies have a formal performance appraisal system in which employee job performance is rated on a regular basis, usually once a year. It helps direct employee behavior toward organizational goals by letting employees know what is expected of them, and it yields information for making employment decisions, such as those regarding pay raises, promotions, and discharges.
3) One of the ways to tell your employees that you recognize their hard work and appreciate their contribution. A good employee incentive program also motivates the staff to perform well which results in increased productivity and high employee performance.
4) The employee can be monitored at all times while he is being trained. For example, if he is working as a cashier, another cashier can be standing by observing and ready to answer questions.
5) Encouraging employees to acquire new or advanced skills, knowledge, and view points, by providing learning and training facilities, and avenues where such new ideas can be applied.
6) By using a wide range of perspectives, this system provides employees with feedback from people all around them in the organizational hierarchy, and allows employees to gain a more thorough understanding of their impact on people they interact with every day.
7) Coworkers often know more about their peers' strengths and weaknesses than supervisors do,and letting employees review one another is a great way for management to share in that knowledge.
