1999年7月本科畢業於湖南師範大學物理系;1999年9月至2002年7月,華南師範大學信息光電子科技學院獲理學碩士學位;2002年9月至2005年6月,復旦大學信息科學與工程學院獲理學博士學位
2003年4月至今,在湖南大學計算機與通信學院工作。
2005年6月,晉升為副教授。
2008年1月,晉升為教授。
2008年8月至2009年8月,加拿大滑鐵盧大學做訪問學者
