研究跨國公司對外投資動機與區位選擇之間的關聯性是直接投資領域更為微觀的問題虹連項，由於研究視角的不同及對差異因素估計的不同效用，至今學者們所做結論更多依賴於經驗意義上的統計與推斷，而鮮有利用相關的理論模型進行集中闡述。有鑒於此，論文從集群效應比較明顯的IT產業發展入手，利用集群理論框架研究IT跨國公司國際化競爭行為，發現IT跨國公司的集群投資具有兩種均衡模式，由這兩種均衡模式得出的相關翻糊煮榆結論較好道寒戶笑地解釋了IT跨國公司對外投資動機與其區位選擇之間的一些關聯特性。論文道充只同時研究了IT跨國公司的競爭優勢形成尋頸，對這一競凝端閥爭優勢做了量化指標的界定，並利用集群經濟學的特性探討了它對競爭優勢的影響，得出利用“創新——能力”理論解釋IT跨國公司競爭優勢形成更具說服力。為進一步探討集群理論下的IT跨國公司對外投資特徵，論文分別從技術創新集群與經濟集群的視角做了詳盡的實證分析，並總結出技術與經濟集群下投資均衡的條件。論文還考察了集群當中不同技術程度的IT跨國公司競爭對其R&D創新能力的影響，在加進有政府競爭選擇的條件下我們發現，東道國政府進行適度市場化支持具有一定的重要意義。論文最後分析了IT產業在中國的發展狀況，指出中國加入WTO後，面臨IT跨踏殃充國公司紛紛搶灘國內市場的現實，當務之急是積極審慎調整相關產業發展思路，並致力於從政策舉措的高度進行宏、中、微觀的把握。

ABSTRACT

The research into the relationship between motivation of MNC's FDI and itslocation choice is the more micro question in the field of international investment.Because of the different research points and the different estimations about the influentialfactors, there still lacks the suitable models to focus on the theory, but more on thestatistics and conclusions by experience.In view of this, the thesis, starting from IT industry which originates with typicalclusters, puts clusters as a basic point in the behavioral analysis of IT MNC's competition,and finds there lies two equilibrium modals in the clusters investment of IT MNCs. Wedraw some conclusions from these modals, and they can give a better explanation ofmotivation of MNC's FDI and its location choice.The thesis also studies the formation of IT MNC's competition advantages, andmakes a quantitative measurement of them. Using the characteristics of clusterseconomies, we find its influences on the IT MNC's competition advantages, whichdemonstrates "innovation-competence" theory is more suitable for the formation of ITMNC's competition advantages.To further the characteristics of IT MNC's FDI under the clusters theory, we makea detailed empirical analysis from two aspects: technology clusters and economic clusters,and get the propositions of the two clusters investment equilibrium modals.The thesis also focuses on the competition between high-tech IT MNCs and low-tech IT MNCs to find how the competition course influences R&D innovationcompetence, the moment we introduce government's choice of competitors, we find localgovernment's suitable stand on the market competition is more important.As china is becoming the most prospective country in the world, IT MNCs arehaving great interests in their FDI here. In this thesis, we make a clear recall of ITinvestment in recent years. An important fact is that, with the quick development ofChinese economy, we shall get a new eyesight of our FDI policy, especially this timewhen we have to deal with IT internationalization. Some useful measures (macro、 microand clusters ) are proposed in the end.
