法國配樂大師，在60年代的歐洲音樂界便獲得空前的成功，而到了80年代他在好萊塢也獲得了同樣的成功。畢業於法國公立音樂學院的狄奈許，在進入電影音樂界之前的40到50年代，為一些芭蕾舞劇和一些音樂劇譜寫音樂，後於1957年為新浪潮派先驅導演特呂弗、戈達爾、阿倫·雷奈等人的作品配樂。一提到狄奈許，人們便會想起他和他那豐富並賦予熱烈感情的音樂，在四十年間他為200多部電影譜寫了配樂，成為歐洲最多產和受尊重的配樂人之一。
