作者簡介
韓鑒堂(Han Jiantang), a native of Tianjin in north China, is a Chinese language professor with the Tianjin Normal University. He has been teaching Chinese to foreign students for 22 years. In 1994, he was sent by Ministry of Education of PRC to teach Chinese in Inner Mongolia's Ulan Bator National University for three years.Works: Chinese Culture (1994), which was used by the China National Office for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language (Hanban for short) and later adopted as a teaching material for Mandarin Chinese teaching. It was displayed at the Frankfurt International Book Fair in 1999 and was issued in the Uygur language in 2002. Other works include Approaching Traditional Chinese Art (2001) produced for Hanban, and Picture Book on Chinese Characters Culture (2005) which is also used for teaching Chinese as a foreign language. He has published a dozen research papers, some of which have won awards. In addition, he has published hundreds of illustrations in newspapers and journals; some of his works have been put on view in the Tianjin Fine Art Works Show and the Beijing Art Gallery.
