美國加州的Surfware公司開發的Surfcam是基於Windows的數控編程系統，附有全新透視圖基底的自動化彩色編輯功能，可迅速而又簡捷地將一個模型分解為型芯和型腔，從而節省複雜零件的編程時間。該軟體的CAM功能具有自動化的恆定Z水平粗加工和精加工功能，可以使用圓頭、球頭和方頭立銑刀在一系列Z水平上對零件進行無撞傷的曲面切削。對某些作業來說，這種加工方法可以提高粗加工效率和減少精加工時間。V7.0版本完全支持基於微機的實體模型建立。另外Surfware公司和SolidWorks公司簽有合作協定，SolidWorks的設計部分將成為Surfcam的設計前端，Surfcam將直接掛在SolidWorks的選單下，二者相輔相成。
