Brandon Lanier (drums), Droo Hastings (bass), and Justin Bonhiver (guitar)首先在網上聽見了主唱 Kevin Truckenmiller寫的mp3，於是就聯繫他組建樂隊，Kevin同意了並拉來他的大學同學 Matt Kirby (guitar, vocals)加入。接著他們在美國中西部展開了1年半的巡迴表演。他們的表演在網站得到了人們的關注，2004年末他們和epic簽約，06年發行了首張專輯[When All That's Left Is You]。
