Cody出生在澳洲的黃金海岸，於1997年1月11日出生。在他六歲的時候，他第一次接觸吉他，並立刻彈唱起來。8歲時，他寫了他的第一首歌。 過去四年中，科迪不斷磨練他的音樂，現在的他變得更愛彈吉他，唱歌和寫歌。幾個月前，他決心要分享他的音樂和其他的世界！在一次學校的音樂會上11歲的他和一個女孩翻唱了jason mraz的im yours，那個女孩將視頻放在youtube上大受好評。之後cody決定開始自youtube視頻。隨著youtube造星浪潮，很多人都出名了，但是惟獨cody在幾周內，就得知演出策劃人聯繫cody。他就是大名鼎鼎的shaw campbell，他曾經給missy elliott ，jay-z還有ciara做過produce，接著他把cody介紹給cody現在這個經紀人，並且帶cody去了紐約把cody引見給了唱片公司record labels（cody和Flo Rida是同一家公司的藝人，所以合作了首單），並且和Atlantic Records見了面，簽下了cody。
如今剛剛和flo Rida分開拍攝完首單iyiyi的cody去justin B.的單曲somebody to love拍攝MV的場地和justin見面。兩個孩子都很開心認識對方，並且大讚對方nice。對於被國外媒體稱為 justin B.強勁對手的cody並不為兩人的對比感到煩惱，他大讚justin的天賦，並且也肯定了自己。
目前cody正在和音樂人DJ Frankee 以及Colby O'Donis和 Flo Rida.在一起工作。
