她是加拿大最大的獨立唱片CP Records的女歌手，2010年翻唱熱單Stereo Love後一炮成名，單曲在Canadian Hot 100 上取得第10位，銷量破白金，並被加拿大Juno Awards提名Best Dance Single of the Year，同年她發行了一首宣傳單Chasing the Rush，並與同公司的歌手Danny Fernandes (Shawn Desman的弟弟) 合作了歌曲Dream Catcher，收錄於 Danny Fernandes 的第2張大碟《AutomaticLUV》中。2011年5月10日，Mia Martina發行了自己的第2支正式單曲Latin Moon，另外一支與Tune-Adkits合作的舞曲Summer Love也於當天同步發行。
