羅南基汀是愛爾蘭歌手，代表作是《When you say nothing at all》，從12歲時就開始寫歌，和好友組過團，叫NAMESTE。曾經加入學校的合唱團，但被踢出來，因為合唱團的老師說他不會唱歌。進入BOYZONE時還在學校念書，剛成立時與團員晚上在校園和青少年常去的俱樂部表演，每天作二到三場的演出，一直的夢想是成為像TAKE THAT那么紅的團員，直到成為BZ一員，成為主唱，他才真正找到自己心目中的理想事業。
