染色線 亦稱為螺旋絲、核絲。是用光學顯微鏡在分裂中期染色體、染色單體和間期核內所見到的最細的絲狀構造。染色線 chromonema 根據電子顯微鏡觀察，一般認為它是由基本染色體纖維經多次摺疊而構成的。在流體力學的概念中，染色線指相繼通過流場同一空間點的流體質點在同一瞬時的連線。
