創作背景
《Beautiful》是專輯《Relapse》中由埃米納姆製作的歌曲，專輯中其它近二十首歌曲全由德瑞醫生負責。2005年8月，埃米納姆自爆患有睡眠性藥物依賴綜合症。他不想就此毀了自己的一生，於是努力戒毒。歌曲的第一段主歌是他在康復中心的床邊寫的，由於受到毒癮的影響，埃米納姆不能專注地完成其他部分；康復以後，埃米納姆才將歌曲完善。歌曲的錄製是在他戒毒初期神志不清的時候完成的。歌曲採樣自皇后樂隊與保羅·羅傑斯合唱的歌曲《Reaching Out》。

《Beautiful》的MV由安東尼·曼德勒執導，在密西根州底特律市拍攝，於2009年7月2日通過雅虎音樂發布。MV開頭通過文字介紹了密西根和底特律曾經的輝煌。之後的MV中，埃米納姆漫步在密西根中環火車站、前帕卡德工廠和老虎球場球場的廢墟。通過MV，埃米納姆向人們展示了曾經一度輝煌的汽車之城底特律的頹廢現狀。
