肯德里克·拉馬爾表示，《Alright》的創作靈感來源於他在遊歷非洲時對當地人民所遇問題的見解。而在歌曲製作上，製作人法瑞爾·威廉士表示其創作方向源於他的一個助理對Trap樂的喜愛。
