2004年在義大利佛羅倫斯的國際視覺藝術中心，Zaria Forman進行了一個學期的國際學術交流活動，主要研究珠寶、現代繪畫、義大利語及文藝復興藝術史。2005年Forman從斯基德莫爾學院工作室藝術專業畢業，獲得理學學士學位。從那以後，她的作品在藝術節得到廣泛關注，在美國舉行了個人和團體作品展覽。博物館和私人收藏，一些引人注目的藝術博覽會和拍賣會中也能看到Forman作品的影子。
創作自述
我的靈感來畫開始我在小時候。在我的童年我的家人週遊世界去偏遠的風景,這是我母親美術攝影的主題。我喜歡上了欣賞美麗、廣闊、千變萬化的天空和大海。我喜歡在西部沙漠平原看著一個遙遠的風暴,南印度季風帶來的降雨;寒冷的北極光照格陵蘭島的水域。在我的作品中,我想要像觀眾們轉達一種過渡的時刻,湍流和寧靜的風景和它們對觀眾的影響。在這個過程中我想到了我們面對強大的自然力量。畫畫的過程對我而言是一個冥想的過程,我希望觀眾可以分享這種體驗的參與工作時寧靜的逃避。
