whiplash，美國speed、thrash界響噹噹的名字，他們1985年的那張<Power and Pain>曾經影響過眾多後輩樂隊。這是他們的2009新作，距離上張錄音室專輯已經有十一年之久。實在搞不明白，為什麼他們復出之後居然玩起了南方金屬？sludge、stoner輪番上陣，還時不時搞些hardcore助興，speed\thrash倒成了可有可無的調料。看來whiplash是鐵了心不加入thrash回潮大軍。你不妨把這當作一張sludge\stoner metal來聽。
