他有兩個弟弟，Parris和Sawyer，Ty 很喜歡和他們一起騎車和游泳。
Panitz同時也出演了電視劇《Bones(識骨尋蹤)》中特別探員Seeley Booth的兒子Parker一角。最近，Ty出演了 《Stolen Lives（The boy in the box） 2009》和 《Santa Buddies(聖誕狗狗)》。
