1993年Therion發表了帶有神秘標題名的第三張專輯Symphony Masses: Ho Drakon Ho Megas，相比於死亡金屬，其風格更接近於厄運金屬。嘗試融合了爵士樂、工業音樂、80年代重金屬和宗教頌歌的這張專輯售出了約一萬張，這相比於前兩張專輯已是極大飛躍，但是仍然無法幫助樂隊解決經濟問題。Active Records不再為他們發行新的專輯，並將樂隊轉給Megarock Records。由於巡演反響不佳，Bathelsson和Wahl退出樂隊，Fredrik Isaksson加入成為新的貝斯手。
1995年樂隊發表第四張專輯，也是與Nuclear Blast合作的首張專輯Lepaca Kliffoth，這張作品更加注重於交響的發揮，同時也加入了些許的歌劇演唱，而其中的曲目Beauty In Black則成為Therion的一首經典名曲，此曲也收錄於專輯前幾個月發行的一張迷你CD中，這張MCD在歐洲獲得了12000的銷量，出乎了Christofer的意料。此曲的歌劇女音是由參與Celtic Frost傳奇專輯Into The Pademonium的Claudia Maria Mokri所演唱，同時也加入了更多旋律，鍵盤演奏以及男中低音的演唱。此張專輯充分地展露出了Therion朝向更嚴謹的古典交響和歌劇風格的企圖，並在發行後的幾周之內賣出了15000張的數量。此後，貝斯手Fredrik由與個人因素離去，Lars Rosenberg接替了他的位置。Therion隨後和Annihilator一起在德國進行巡演，並在阿根廷和智利舉辦了小型巡演。Lepaca Kliffoth時代陣容(1995)
1996–2001年
1996年，時逢樂隊成立十周年，樂隊進入德國漢堡的Impuls錄音室，開始了Nuclear Blast唱片公司史上預算最龐大的錄音工程，除了雇用Barmbek交響樂團外，更有兩支完整的唱詩班參與（一為North German Radio Choir，一為專業的搖滾唱詩班The Siren Choir），加上一位古典樂及一位金屬樂的雙製作人共同合作，而第4代的成員也順利組成，吉他手Jonas Mellberg（前Unanimated）加入了樂隊。他們花費了一個半月的時間終於完成了經典巨作Theli，此張專輯銷售了7.5萬張（註：對歐洲重金屬樂團來說已算大賣了），同時Therion亦展開了全歐洲的大規模巡迴演唱行程，包括了和Amorphis共同演出的一個長期演唱，以及一個為時兩周與My Dying Bride, Sentenced, Secret Discovery和Sundown等團的音樂節演唱。Deggial陣容(2000)
2001年，專注於北歐神話主題的專輯Secret Of The Runes發行。通過這張專輯，樂迷可以最近距離的了解到Chris關於神秘學的一些背景。其實Chris本人是歐洲神秘學組織“紅龍”成員，Therion作品裡面的大部分歌詞都是由Chris同在紅龍組織的朋友Thomas Karlsson所編寫。之後樂隊同Evergrey和My Insanity在歐洲和拉美巡演；Karppinen離隊，Richard Evensand加入作為鼓手。
同年，樂隊為其官方冬粉俱樂部發行專輯Bells of Doom，其中包含了一些從未在其他專輯發行過的早期作品。
2002年，為慶祝樂隊成立15周年，發行了首張演唱會專輯Live in Midgård。
2004-2006年
推行Secret Of The Runes專輯的巡演後，Christofer和Niemann兄弟整合了他們合作的55首未發行曲目，他們認為這些足夠用於三張專輯的歌曲若是逐年發行並為其相應巡演費時費力，於是在2004年，樂隊一口氣推出兩張專輯SiriusB和Lemuria。共有包括合唱團和交響樂團在內的171名藝術家參與了專輯的製作，包括新主唱Mats Levén和回歸的Piotr Wawrzeniuk。相比前面編曲宏大的Vovin和Deggial，這次創作的在一些曲目中顯現出了更加細膩的抒情意味，如經典曲目Lemuria更加突出乾淨的旋律，配上清澈的女高音，將聽眾帶入和以往作品裡面排山倒海的氣勢相異的寧靜氛圍。專輯中收錄的曲目同樣都是高質量的，反應出Christofer Johnsson傑出的創作才華。
出現在Therion的專輯封面上的標誌主要是魔法學、神秘學和紅龍會相關的符號。其中最常見的11角星從1993年專輯Symphony Masses: Ho Drakon Ho Megas起便出現在每一張封面上（還有其他樂隊周邊產品上，如樂手的吉他、貝斯上，撥片上等等），這個被稱作“賽特之星(Star of Seth)”的符號象徵著卡巴拉之夜(the night side of the Qabalah)。Christofer說這個符號對他的歌詞和他的魔法哲學非常重要。貝斯上的十一角星
