每個問題少年一生中似乎都會經歷那么一段用來想像自殺的日子
在近乎著魔的暴戾中完成由黑暗混沌到光明澄澈的穿越
那樣一段或長或短的時光 就是一段interrupted的時光
少年在此過程中眼睜睜注視靈魂從躁鬱到平和的兌變
找到與自己相處的方式
我們常說——每次成長都是一次死亡
所以這個不用想像 最終都會到來 我們需要去做的只是：
對自己有足夠耐心 忍受生活並不是隨波逐流不是麻木
給自己時間選擇告別和丟棄一些東西 而後繼續前行
這是一個過程，一個如同Susanna用aspirin fragments and vodka致幻的過程，一個並不是像醫生、父母那樣以為Susanna要自殺的過程，她只是通過那樣的行為逃避不想呆在同樣的地方、不想過雷同於媽媽生活的時光，她只想更好地控制腦子裡的想法。
即便，血液里的不安和對外界的抗拒如同一枚隱形的定時炸彈，在滴答的時間面前，遲早要爆炸。但只要還有時間，你就可以在焦躁中和恐懼中找到拆除這個隱形裝置的路徑。把潛在的危機化解。
這樣的過程亦可以想像為急速行駛的列車突然遭遇強行停車，結果是什麼——若前方沒有障礙物，那也許是一次極憋屈極壓抑的硬性停車；若前方有巨大的障礙物，很可能發生死亡般的碰撞，幸運的殘存，不幸的被上帝帶走。青春何嘗不是如此，狂奔無極限，突然沒了方向或是找不到狂奔的理由了，那結果是什麼——忍受減速忍受原地滯留。內心陷入迷亂。
生命的意義—— 一個不斷尋找不斷肯定再否定再肯定的循環過程，而不是像daisy那樣，只是一場放棄的自我戰役，被瘋狂悄無聲息地帶走。
選擇瘋狂，只是為了更清醒地看到生命的本質。
因為我們生活其中的世界，自人類存在就遵循著它的運轉軌跡，它從不因你腦子裡各類想法而停下。改變不了自己，就去改變這個世界；如果改變不了這個世界又不想改變自己，那就只有去死。
lisa通過富於攻擊性的言語和行為來證明存在，她沒有關於現實世界活生生存在的模式和概念，她只有一套她自己的理論，她把折騰的形式誤認為就是內容本身，如同不會愛的人，把傷害當成了愛。
編劇讓daisy死了，lisa在自我的世界掙扎著，susanna幻夢結束，她找到了與自己對話的通道，她離開了精神病院。三個孩子的命運，亦可看成一個精神拋錨者的三個發展階段：死去一個自我——陷入一個新的自我掙扎——後進入經歷前兩個過程洗禮後連貫的自我。
