創作背景
《Say Yes》改編自奈及利亞福音曲《When Jesus Says Yes》，是米歇爾·威廉斯、碧昂絲·吉賽爾·諾斯和凱莉·羅蘭自天命真女2006年解散後第3次合作作品。米歇爾·威廉斯將專輯《Journey to Freedom》的試聽版寄給了其餘兩人。後來凱莉·羅蘭給米歇爾·威廉斯打電話，希望三人合作演唱這首歌曲。隨後碧昂絲與凱莉·羅蘭在各自的錄音棚里演唱了自己的部分。

跳躍的節奏、精準的合成音效加上三人一如既往的默契塑造了一首充滿島嶼氣息的讚美之歌，在《Say Yes》中，三人在輕快的雷鬼舞曲節奏中演唱了鼓舞人心的歌曲，此外歌曲打破了傳統的福音歌曲的格局，另闢蹊徑，在一眾歌曲中脫穎而出。雖然碧昂絲·吉賽爾·諾斯通常是組合的大姐大，但聽到米歇爾·威廉斯演唱了大部分的歌詞也是一種有趣的享受。
