–MathematicsLevel2isdesignedforstudentswhohavetakenmorethanthreeyearsofcollege-preparatorymathematics:twoyearsofalgebra,oneyearofgeometry,andelementaryfunctions(precalculus)and/ortrigonometry.Astudentwhohashadpreparationintrigonometryandelementaryfunctions,hasattainedgradesofBorbetterinthesecoursesandknowswhenandhowtouseascientificorgraphingcalculatorshouldselectMathematicsLevel2.
SAT2數學有兩個，一個是mathlevel1,還有一個mathlevel2。大部分中國學生考的都是level2，因為容錯率大了一些。
這裡解釋一下，容錯率指的就是錯多少道題仍然是滿分。沒有人能說出準確的容錯率，但是level2的容錯率應該是在錯5到8個左右。數學可以買princeton出的，聽同學說和真題難度非常接近。
我個人用的是barron，比真題要稍微難一些。當時同學還借了我一本湯普森的數學，我做了一下發現題難的抽風。不過見識一下也挺有意思的。這是書的選擇。
再就是如何使用的問題。無論是barron還是princeton，把前面的講解看一遍，大概了解一下考試範圍就夠了。事實上數學包括的內容就是國中加上課改區高二上以前(文理科都是這樣的)的全部內容。而且即使沒有上高二，就那點知識點，翻一下就會了，沒任何難度可言。翻完了書做幾套題數學基本上就沒什麼了。
考試的時候可能會出現一些不大會的，比如矩陣什麼的的題，我當時就跳過去了。個人認為這些細枝末節的地方不看也罷。
再就是計算器的使用。Casio的計算器就夠了，功能不用太多，用不到什麼graphingcalculator。那些需要畫圖的題手繪就行，甚至像我一樣放棄也可以。我考試的時候數學一共空了四道題，但是成績出來依舊是滿分。所以不要太為細節掛懷了。
