《Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace》基本上保持了The Offspring以往的特點，由於金屬製作人Bob Rock的加盟，這張作品的失真效果似乎更重一些。與The Offspring以往的作品相比，這張《Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace》的“起落”不大，依然“憤怒”，但似乎缺少了那么點“優雅”。
