Kent樂隊來自瑞典,Kent成立於1990年,主唱Joakim Berg與吉他手Sami Sirvio是學校舊識，樂隊成立後陸續招兵買馬，首張同名專輯只能算表現普通。但96年的第二張專輯Verkligen讓事情產生了轉機，這些帶著濃濃Radiohead式The Bends氛圍的音樂瞬間征服了瑞典，Kent終於踏入暢銷樂隊之林。02年發行的Vapen & Ammunition，光在北歐一地就售出了五十萬張，相當驚人的數字。2000年的這張《Hagnesta hill》里，好像故意要擺脫radiohead的影子，不過，真正喜歡這張專輯的，還是那些慢歌，音樂，好聽就行了，要意境還不如去讀唐詩。找個沒事的下午，或者睡不著的夜裡，關上門和窗，把自己浸入這首quiet heart，也許，你會找到一絲的平靜。除了受到Radiohead影響，David Bowie與Depeche Mode也是Kent的重要精神食糧。Kent的音樂總是帶著濃濃的英國味，許多人將他們歸入Brit-Pop。但他們的氣質是其他英國樂隊學不來的，Kent一向有自己的味道.
