分類
根據QoS的不同, 承載(Bearer)可以劃分為兩大類: GBR(Guranteed Bit Rate) 和 Non-GBR。
定義
所謂GBR,是指承載要求的比特速率被網路“永久”恆定的分配,即使在網路資源緊張的情況下,相應的比特速率也能夠保持。MBR(Maximum Bit Rate)參數定義了GBR Bear在資源充足的條件下,能夠達到的速率上限。MBR的值必須大於或等於GBR的值。相反的,Non-GBR指的是在網路擁擠的情況下,業務(或者承載)需要承受降低速率的要求,由於Non-GBR承載不需要占用固定的網路資源,因而可以長時間地建立。而GBR承載一般只是在需要時才建立。
在接口上使用QCI而不是傳輸一組QoS參數主要是為了減少接口上的控制信令數據傳輸量,並且在多廠商互連環境和漫遊環境中使得不同設備/系統間的互連互通更加容易,由此,需要規定一定數量的處理行為(類似於DiffServ中規定的Per-Hop行為)。
