《鑿壁偷光——匡衡》講述了匡衡勤奮學習，*後學有所成的故事。匡衡是西漢時期的名士，他對《詩經》的研究無可超越，以至於當時沒有學者敢在他面前班門弄斧。他的成就和他小時候的努力是分不開的。他小時候家裡很窮，買不起蠟燭，他就去鄰居家借蠟燭讀書，但遭到了鄰人的嘲諷，說窮人讀書也沒用。匡衡就暗自發誓要好好爭氣，有一番作為。他無意中發現鄰居家的光亮可以透過家裡牆壁上的裂縫照進來，於是就每晚借著牆縫的光閱讀。他還自薦去富人家打工，不要薪酬，只要富人讓他看書就可以。憑藉著孜孜不倦的努力，他*終成為了非常有學問的人，官至宰相。
Kuang Heng was a great scholar in the Western Han Dynasty. His study for the Poetry was peerless thus nobody dared to talk about that in front of him. His achievement was owned to his hard work when he was a child. His family was to poor to afford the candles. So he tried to borrow candles from his neighbor, only got sarcastic remarks saying there is no use for poor people to read. Thus Kuang Heng vowed to himself that he would be success one day. Once he found the candle light from his neighbor’s could go through the cracks of his walls, so he depended on the light to read everyday. Later he asked a rich man for a work without pay on the condition to read free. With assiduous work, he finally became a scholar and the minister of the state.
作者簡介
作者馬邦城，1950年出生，籍貫平陽。兒童歷史故事作家，瑞安市作家協會副主席。曾在《歷史文學》《青年一代》《少年文藝》等刊物上發表文章20多篇；在京、滬、遼、川、浙及台灣等8家出版社，出版過《包拯審案》《中國古代改革家故事》《腥風血雨話當年》《戊戌變法的故事》《自古英才出少年》《讀歷史話英雄》（上下集）等13本歷史讀物。在《溫州晚報》副刊開闢專欄，撰寫溫州歷史人物傳記故事130餘篇，先後出版《漢武帝劉徹》《宋太祖趙匡胤》《瑞安古代清官故事》《瑞安歷史名人列傳》等書，總字數達150萬，作品曾多次獲獎。
