創作背景
《Only Girl (In the World)》的歌詞和簡譜由Crystal Johnson、Mikkel S. Eriksen、Tor Erik Hermansen和Sandy Wilhelm合作撰寫，音樂製作由Sandy Vee、Kuk Harrell以及星門團隊負責。歌曲在蕾哈娜進行Last Girl on Earth世界巡迴演唱會期間創作，並先後在美國紐約、洛杉磯以及法國巴黎的工作室完成錄製。蕾哈娜希望她能夠演唱與專輯《Good Girl Gone Bad》中風格不同的歌曲，於是製作人為她創作了該曲。

在歌曲MV中，蕾哈娜以紅髮造型出場，配合空曠的場面和炫酷的特效製造出一種唯美華麗的視覺效果。背景是一片荒涼的茅草地，蕾哈娜在蒼茫暮色中全裸出鏡，只是攬著一件紅衣以遮掩身體。蕾哈娜一會兒獨自在一片紅色的曠野跳躍，一會兒躺在鮮花堆成的花床上，慢慢地花床變成了一個大花朵，她以近乎挑逗的姿勢擺著造型。各種顏色的氣球出現，天空垂下了一個巨大的翅膀，一會兒掛滿五顏六色閃爍燈泡的大樹進入了超現實的畫面。
