The dynamic duo will make their TV movie debut in the latest B-movie event of the year, appearing alongside Ian Ziering, Cassie Scerbo and Tara Reid.
The formerX Factorstars are known to be good friends with Reid, having met when all three appeared together onCelebrity Big Brotherin 2011.
David Hasselhoff, Bo Derek and Ryan Newman will also have roles in the latest spoof, while Jerry Springer, Chris Jericho and Chris Kirkpatrick will have cameos.
Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!will first air on Syfy in the US on July 22, before premiering on its UK channel within 24 hours.

John and Edward announced yesterday that they have recorded the official theme song for Sharknado 3, due for release on July 22, to coincide with the first screening of the film. The track, entitled “Oh Hell No” will be available on iTunes. The twins have a cameo in the film, with Edward saying yesterday at theBlackpool Pride Festivalthat their role includes a lot of screaming. They are officially credited in the film as “tourists”. Sharknado 3 stars Tara Reid, Ian Ziering, and Cassie Scerbo.
The film will be broadcast in the U.S. on 22 July, on the SyFy network, and the rest of the world the following night. Although made for TV, several cinemas in the U.S. are also showing the film that night.
It is the first time the twins have written a song for a film soundtrack.
