西班牙馬德里的Salva家族以精湛的制包手藝聞名遐邇，在一個半世紀的發展歷史過程中，有繁盛的顛覆時期，也有低迷時期。
1958年，Matties在二戰後第一次的世界博覽會的比利時布魯塞爾世界博覽會中亮相，其由於技藝和時尚的款式，Matties一時間訂單如雲，頗為矚目。
1959年，葡萄牙Matties門店開業標誌著Matties開始向歐洲進軍。Matties皮包逐漸受到明星們的青睞，被Matties的融經典與時尚為一體且兼具藝術感的獨特風格所吸引。
1967年，Matties在全球範圍內已經有開設了百家門店。
