Journalist Josephine Heatherington investigate;'s the death and life of the rev. H. Davidson, a vicar who was defrocked after taking in prostitutes. After being defrocked, the vicar preaches on the end of Brighton Pier, re-enacting scenes from the Bible. On acting 'Daniel; in the Lion's Den' he is eaten by a lion. Based on a true story.
