"Have You Ever?"由著名抒情創作人黛安華倫（Diane Warren ）創作，並由戴安的老搭檔大衛福斯特（David Foster）製作。Brandy在2005年接受採訪時表示，“那時我的聲音還沒有像現在這么純熟自如，但這首歌需要那種製作人叫做‘money notes’的嗓子來演繹——就是那種能把歌演繹到排行榜第一的那種嗓子。我那時很緊張，但後來一切都很順利！”在2012年9月5號的一個採訪中，創作者黛安華倫表示，這是首非常經典的歌，Brandy唱的非常棒，她還表示自己一直希望這首歌有一個鄉村版本。
