Chingy來自於美國南方的聖·路易斯，在他的成長曆程中看到了社會上許多黑暗的層面，但是Chingy並不想描述他所看到的陰暗的事件，反而在他的學校和街道上一直都保持著相對“中庸”的立場。後來這也體現在他的音樂之中，Chingy是喜歡音樂才做音樂的，他並不想把做音僅僅當作自己的飯碗，他的理想是能夠成為一名真正的音樂家，就像他的偶像麥可·傑克遜一樣！
amerie，女，1981年1月12日出生，她一位混血兒。母親韓國人，父親美籍非裔一名職業軍人，所以艾蜜蕊童年生活足跡遍布阿拉斯加到德國基地。很小時候艾蜜蕊開始學習舞蹈，並各種才藝比賽中頻頻亮相。獲上天所特別眷顧、兼具了美貌與智慧，畢業於喬治城大學，年僅22歲卻已隨家人週遊過列國的Amerie，她溫暖、風趣的特質，令她一出道就在新人濟濟的樂壇中予人清新的氣息、脫穎而出。‘
