Flowtecal Group Co., Ltd., established since May 1997 in the United Kingdom (UK), dedicates to the R&D and manufacturing of world-class automated control valves, actuators and other flow control products. Flowtecal®, FT® and FU LUO TAI® (in PIN YIN, simplified Chinese) are legally registered trademarks of Flowtecal Group.
The Greater China Headquarters of Flowtecal is located in Guangzhou City of Guangdong Province. The members from Flowtecal Control (HK) Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Flowtecal Valves Co., Ltd. and Heyuan Flowtecal Automated Control Valves Manufacturing Co., Ltd. make up the board of directors and the senior management team. Guangzhou Flowtecal Valves Co., Ltd. is in full charge of the general affairs such as R&D, marketing, model selection and technical support. Heyuan Flowtecal Automated Control Valves Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is solely and officially empowered to manufacture Flowtecal’s products.

Flowtecal Group Co. Ltd. (Flowtecal Group, Flowtecal Headquarters)) was established in May 1997 in the United Kingdom (UK). As one flow control professor, Flowtecal started serving the European (EU) industries and achieved a wide recognition and success.
FT® was successfully registered in EU and US. The trademark was exclusive to Flowtecal’s valves and automation systems.
In April 2003, Flowtecal Control Co., Ltd. (Flowtecal Control) was established in London, UK. Then in the EU, with the technical advantages, Flowtecal started to manufacture ball valves, butterfly valves and actuators in quantity.
On 5th November 2004, Mr. Bill Barreto and Mr. Allen Bray, the founders of Flowtecal Control, invested a new company in Hong Kong, named Flowtecal Control (HK) Co., Ltd. (Flowtecal HK). The new company was in cooperation with three Chinese shareholders (Mr. Collin Xin, Mr. Johnny Zhu and Mr. Chen Xin), for launching the brand to the Greater China Area.
In August 2005, Guangzhou Flowtecal Automation Technology Co., Ltd. (renamed to Guangzhou Flowtecal Valves Co., Ltd. in 2009) (Guangzhou Flowtecal) was established by the three Chinese shareholders, in order to be a trustful manufacturer that served the industries such as light industry, chemicals, mining, water and energy which is located in the China Mainland, especially in the South China Area. In the meantime, Flowtecal HK successfully registered the exclusive trademark ‘FT®’ in Hong Kong and China Mainland, which was authorized by Flowtecal Headquarters.
During 2006, one year since established, Guangzhou Flowtecal achieved great performance and gained high comments from the customers such as Cargill-President (Dongguan) Feed Protein Technology Co., Ltd., Jiangxi Xingan Salt Mine, Fujian Dongnan Chemicals Co., Ltd., Shenyang Boruida Engineering Co., Ltd. and Guangxi East Asia Sugar Group.
In September 2006, Flowtecal Control established a factory at the Szekesfehervar Industrial Park in Hungary, for manufacturing valves and actuators.
In August 2007, invited by Hangzhou Xiandi Valves Co., Ltd. (Hangzhou Xiandi) and Hangzhou Flyking Pneumatic and Hydraulic Actuators Co., Ltd. (Hangzhou Flyking), the senior management team from Flowtecal HK and Guangzhou Flowtecal visited these two Hangzhou manufacturers and inspected their products.
Till 2008, Flowtecal’s butterfly range had been generally approved by China’s sugar industries. Guangzhou Flowtecal obtained a contract to provide all automated valves to a refined sugar factory owned by Nongken Sugar Industry Group Fangcheng Port Sugar Co., Ltd. An overall operation with the failure rate of less than 0.1% was achieved, which deserved the world class level of valves.
In June 2008, under the approval of Flowtecal headquarters, Flowtecal HK and Guangzhou Flowtecal invested in a joint venture with Hangzhou Xiandi and Hangzhou Flyking. Then, Hangzhou Flyking was empowered by Flowtecal Group to rename to Hangzhou Flowtecal Automatic Control Valves Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (Hangzhou Flowtecal).
For the sake of full utilization and integration of Greater China’s resources, Flowtecal Group confirmed that Guangzhou Flowtecal was in full charge of marketing and technical support within the Greater China Area. This helped better integration between the imported products from overseas and the domestic products made by the above joint ventures, to satisfy the various demands from customers.
During 2009, Flowtecal Control and Flowtecal HK, hand in hand with Hangzhou Naite Valves Co., Ltd., took part in the Vendata’s alumina project in India.
In July 2009, Guangzhou Flowtecal cooperated with Siemens Ltd., engaging in the Salim Group’s sugar industry project in Indonesia. Flowtecal’s automated valves were largely adopted in the project.
In August 2009, Guangzhou Flowtecal Automation Technology Co., Ltd. renamed to Guangzhou Flowtecal Valves Co., Ltd. (Guangzhou Flowtecal), for better marketing in China Mainland.
During 2010, Guangzhou Flowtecal was certified ISO9001，ISO14000，ISO18000, which upgraded its management system to coincide with the fast development.
During 2011, Guangzhou Flowtecal completed many projects for reforming sugar factories during the trend towards automation among China’s sugar industry, one among which was the COFCO’s raw sugar project in Chongzuo City of Guangxi Province.
During 2012, Flowtecal was the general contractor who installed all automated control valves in the Thailand You Non’s sugar industry project. At the same year, Flowtecal’s valves were officially adopted by Hercules Inc. and Louis Dreyfus.
After two-year commissioning in the Salim Group’s sugar industry project, Flowtecal’s valves proved to be reliable products. With this project, Flowtecal set up a milestone and started to launch its brand to the Southeast Asia.
In 2013, under the approval of Flowtecal Group, Guangzhou Flowtecal invested in the Heyuan Hi-tech Development Zone to establish a wholly-owned factory to manufacture high quality products, named Heyuan Flowtecal Automated Control Valves Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (Heyuan Flowtecal).
