On the eve of a special day, the family bonds faced with a shared sentiment of a regretted absence, appear fragile. Uncle Manuel, a remarkable man, is determined to help his adolescent nephews and support his brother-in-law, an unemployed unionist. Mother's home is now a place where the family, amid lost dreams, is in danger of disintegration.
