EAGE為歐洲地質學家與工程師學會(European Association of Geoscientists&Engineers)的簡稱，是國際著名的石油與地質行業學會之一。該組織成立於1951年，是專門為地質、礦業、石油勘探與開發、城市建設及環境保護的教育、技術交流而建立的行業學會。學會分為2個分部,一個是石油與天然氣分部，另一個是表層地質學分部。學會總部設在荷蘭的HOUTEN。出版4種刊物，分別為“石油地質”，“首次發現”，“表層地質”,“地質學前景”等。

EAGE是地質與地球物理學科最重要的國際學術組織之一，在地學界和能源工業界具有廣泛的影響力，具有正式會員18000餘名，在區域辦公室分駐荷蘭豪滕、莫斯科、杜拜、吉隆坡和庫拉索分別設有區域辦公室，每年召開的EAGE年會吸引全球7000餘人參加。近年來中國石油大學（北京）積極推行國際化戰略，師生出國進修、訪學和參加國際會議人數逐年增加，在國際期刊和國際會議上發表的論文數量和質量不斷提升。2014年59名師生到歐洲參加EAGE年會並有46人做報告，學校在EAGE的影響力日益增強。2014年3月，EAGE在中國的首個學生分會－中國石油大學（北京）學生分會正式成立。2014年6月，EAGE北京分會成立簽字儀式在荷蘭舉行。
The European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE) is a global professional, not-for-profit association for geoscientists and engineers with more than 19,000 members worldwide. It provides a global network of commercial and academic professionals to all members. The association is truly multi-disciplinary and international in form and pursuits.
All members of EAGE are professionally involved in (or studying) geophysics, petroleum exploration, geology, reservoir engineering, mining and mineral exploration, civil engineering, tunneling and environmental matters.
EAGE operates two divisions: the Oil & Gas Geoscience Division and the Near Surface Geoscience Division.
