金屬大國瑞典的Dream Evil來頭不小，因為本團正是由In Flames、Hammerfall、Opeth、Dimmu Borgir等歐陸金屬大團之知名製作人Fredrick Nordstrom所創立，由他負責吉他和鍵盤，其他成員包含吉他手Gus G. (Mystic Prophecy,Firewind)，鼓手Snowy Shaw (Mercyful Fate, King Diamond) 以及曾參與Hammerfall合音的主唱Niklas Isfeldt和創作的貝斯手Peter Stalfors，一支明星級金屬樂團終於在2002年成軍！
