《Define the Great Line》既擁有Emo的激進流暢，又不缺Post-Hardcore的激情宣洩。此外，這張專輯給人留下印象很深的一點還有主唱斯賓塞·錢伯雷恩（Spencer Chamberlain）對不同嗓音的出色控制。Chamberlain強勁嘶吼時的假聲與真聲之間的轉換可謂天衣無縫。從各方面來看，這張《Define the Great Line》都是Underoath最出色的一張專輯。
