Celldweller

Celldweller 是成立於底特律的電子搖滾project，由多面手Klayton（樂隊Circle of Dust、Argyle Park、Angeldust的前主唱和作曲人）於1999年創立。Celldweller多元化的音樂風格常歸類為電子搖滾，現更多被描述為混合了搖滾元素和迷幻舞曲。Celldweller的歌曲常出現在電影、宣傳片、電視秀和遊戲中。

樂隊介紹

樂隊風格:Industrial / Electronica / Trance平日裡真的很少聽工業或是電子，也許是過分數位化的聲音不太能迎合我挑剔的耳朵，於是斷然將NIN這樣的樂隊拒之門外。這次也是托網友的福，我才有幸發現了Celldweller。不過喜歡上他的原因並非工業或電子。因為我驚異的發覺他們很難被歸類。這也是當下樂隊的特點，越是多元化的聲音就越能占儘先機，同時對音樂模糊化的處理也顯示了樂隊在駕馭各種聲音方面的能力。

Klayton

像許多樂隊的核心人物一樣，樂隊主唱Klayton也是當仁不讓的全才，不僅身兼寫手，製作，混音的重任，而且從Vocals到Guitars, Keyboards, Percussion也都樣樣精通。他的目標就是將不同的音樂風格融合成一種玄妙的聲響，一種詮釋黑暗的美麗。到目前為止，他們有兩張正式專輯，一張是03年同名專輯，一張是特別出版的雙碟作品。前一張在Billboard網路銷售排名17，單曲"I Believe You"在R&R Alternative Specialty Show中排名11，並且於2004年獲得7項Just Plain Folks Music獎，其中包括年度最佳製作和年度最佳專輯獎。而另一張則像是前作的補充，這張被稱為The Beta Cessions的專輯收錄了前作的器樂版，原始DEMOS和重新混音的版本。首張專輯中我還是更喜歡"Under My Feet"和"The Last Firstborn"。"Under My Feet"由清澈的吉他乾淨的人聲開始，漸漸混入電子及工業的元素直至喧囂的高潮，再漸漸退卻至吉他和人聲的狀態，起伏恰倒好處。"The Last Firstborn"在開始已經將電聲展露無餘，並不時加入重型RIFF及飄渺女聲，主唱的聲音則游離於流暢的旋律之中，使整首歌耐聽程度大大加強。

看The Celldweller的現場就如同經歷一場充滿先鋒藝術及搖滾激情的革命，多變的效果加上紛繁的音樂幾乎調動起每個人的神經。2006年，Klayton又在畜勢待發了，他渴望再次顛覆音樂的局限。新專輯中 "The Way She Wants To Die,""Blackstar," 和 "So Long Sentiment"已經完成，歌曲已經問世。
