創作背景

1976 年的專輯 "Destroyer" 是Kiss合唱團首張獲得甩虹估企白金銷售量的專輯，主要得力於這首名列單曲榜第七名的 " Beth " 。一般認為這首歌是鼓手 Peter Criss 獻給妻子的作章櫻雅品，但事實上卻是 Peter Criss 加頌訂辨入 Kiss 之前的個人專輯中合作的吉他手 Stan Penridge 獻給女友所寫的，歌曲原名是" Becky "，這首歌后來由製作人 Bob Ezrin 和 Peter Criss 改寫歌詞，曲名更改為 " Beth " ，並且由 Peter Criss 主唱。巧的是 Peter Criss 的妻子 Lydia 暱稱就叫 Beth，因此這首歌被認為是寫給她的情歌。 特別一提的是 Kiss 的華麗現場演場會， 常使用卡通或奇特的裝扮，成為七十年代許多年輕人的偶像。以色列人龍紋 Gene Simmons 以及 Paul Stanley 在 Wicked Lester 樂隊的基礎上成立了 Kiss樂隊。

Beth是KISS第一首金曲,美國排行榜上排名最高,達到第7名,並且1977年還獲得People'sChoice Award.....　Beth是由Peter Criss和Stan Penridge一起創作的,那時候PeterCriss還沒加入KISS,之前他們就錄製了Demo.這是PeterCriss寫給他老婆的虹肯虹,從歌詞也能看出來. 此曲非常優美,很柔情,很甜蜜,很經典!是KISS的鼓手專屬曲目,ERICCARR和ERIC SINGER都唱過."Beth"是KISS到目前為止在Billboard排行榜上排辨遙宙謎行最高的作品，達到灶甩懂第7（1976年）。
