歌詞分為三部分，首尾部分都源自歌劇詠嘆調《la wally》,開始的部分用美聲演唱，中間過渡到流行部分，流行部分屬於原創。這首歌曲就好比一塊夾心餅乾，首尾的詠嘆調襯托著中間的流行搖滾音，而中間的甜味部分又突出了歌曲的精髓，你中有我，我中有你的美好境界。歌詞也說明了一個道理：不管輸贏都要奮力一搏，實現自己的價值。這首歌剛問世不久，德國拳王亨利馬斯克就邀請了莎拉·布萊曼到自己的賽場上演唱，為他加油助威，因為一些規則她並不能進入拳擊場演唱，所以就這能在拳擊場外演唱。可最終她並沒有選擇那樣平凡的方式演繹這首歌曲。她選擇了一種特殊的方式——穿著一套可以下垂到地的歌劇服裝利用鋼絲懸在空中演唱！當場都為之震驚。 隨著歌曲的跌宕起伏，就如人們預想的那樣，拳王在那場拳賽中大獲全勝。這首歌也成了一些體育賽事的主題曲和舞蹈表演的用曲。在此後莎拉布萊曼的個人巡演之中，大多都愛用吊著鋼絲在空中演唱。由於這首歌在當時從各方面都比較新奇。也當之無愧成為了古典跨界音樂的典範之作。這也成為了莎拉布萊曼個人音樂的巔峰之始。這是屬於她一個人獨有的藝術形式的突出表現，此後莎拉布萊曼也多次運用這種方式創作歌曲，類似於這首歌曲的莎拉布萊曼的歌曲還有《anytime，anywhere》，《Running》等。
