樂隊成立的初衷是對情緒的一種發泄，而後樂隊則逐漸走向商業化。
《The Everlasting Man》是樂隊自專輯《here, the end》後的第二張專輯，相比起第一張專輯，樂隊將hardcore的"吵鬧、快速"變得複雜化和充滿動態感。低聲地吟唱和激情的喊叫平衡了旋律上的不和諧。
