魏志剛，農學博士，教授，博士研究生導師、教育部新世紀優秀人才。主要從事木材形成轉錄調控機制研究與林木常規育種。1993年9月至1997年6月，東北林業大學森林保護專業本科；1997年7月至1999年8月，陝西省寶雞市辛家山林業局工作；1999年9月至2002年6月，東北林業大學林木遺傳育種專業碩士研究生；2002年9月至2007年6月，東北林業大學林木育種專業博士研究生；2010年10月至2010年11月，於韓國江源大學做訪問學者；2013年9月至2014年9月，於美國密西根理工大學做訪問學者。自參加工作起，先後主持國家及省部級科研項目10多項，獲省級獎勵3項，發表論文50餘篇（SCI論文10餘篇），主編教材2部、副主編教材1部，獲發明專利4項。
