魏偉，男，中國科學院上海高等研究院研究員，博士生導師，現任溫室氣體與環境工程研究中心主任。目前，主要從事C1化學與工程、溫室氣體戰略以及二氧化碳的捕集封存和利用、納米材料合成與套用以及新技術和新工藝在精細化學品的合成中的套用等領域的研究，在此研究方面具有多年的工作積累，深得國內外同行認可。目前承擔的課題主要有國家科技支撐計畫1項、國家973項目1項、中國科學院戰略性先導科技專項1項、中科院知識創新工程重要方向2項、中國石油天然氣股份有限公司、山西潞安集團公司、神華集團公司、殼牌公司等企業委託項目近十項。到目前為止，已培養及正在培養的博士生28名，碩士生6名。目前已授權或申請國際發明專利3項、國家發明專利70餘項，在國內外重要學術雜誌上發表高水平論文300餘篇。目前兼任聯合國IPCC碳捕集領導小組成員、中國能源環境科技協會理事等；同時擔任《化工進展》、《氣候變化研究導報》、《天然氣化工》、《光譜學與光譜分析》等學術期刊的編委。

獲獎及榮譽：
2000年獲得中國科學院寶鋼教育基金優秀獎和中國科學院劉永齡獎學金，2004年在第13屆國際催化大會上獲得國際優秀青年科學家獎,2005年獲得中國石油天然氣股份有限公司技術創新二等獎，2009年在第十屆國際CO2利用會議上被授予優秀青年科學家提名獎。
