長期從事基因打靶和表觀遺傳學研究。通過運用模式生物，結合遺傳、生化和生物大數據分析，研究染色質遺傳與表觀遺傳因子（如非編碼RNA和組蛋白密碼）在發育、生殖、天然免疫、衰老和癌症等疾病過程中的生物學功能及分子調控網路。
