從事大氣顆粒物污染防治技術研究與推廣套用工作,在大氣顆粒物源解析技術、顆粒物店匪雅棄籃影匙總量求己控制等方面提出了創新性的技術方法並在辯員謎我國城市顆粒物污染防治工作中進行了廣泛的套用。先後在我國近30個環保重點城市開展大氣顆粒物源解析及污染防治研究工作希幾歡,主持編制了我國第一個《防治城市揚塵污染技術規範》(HJ/T393-2007)。《Atmospheric Environment》、《Atmospheric Research》、《Environmental Monitoring and Assessment》、《Journal of Atmospheric Chemistry》、《Journal of Environmental Management》、《Journal of Hazardous Materials》、《Water, Air, & Soil Pollution》、《Science of the Total Environment》、《Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering in China》、《Atmospheric Pollution Research》、《Journal of Environment Science》等學術期刊審稿人。發表科研論文68篇。
