韓淵懷，男，1963年12月生於山西省原平市。現為山西農業大學農學院教授、博士生導師，農學院副院長、農業生物工程研究所所長、為實驗教學中心副主任、山西省首批“百人計畫”人才，主要從事植物分子生物學/基因工程的教學、科研工作。

學習工作簡歷
1985年畢業於山西農大，1994年赴英留學，2000年獲英國Bath大學博士學位，之後任英國諾丁漢大學研究員和資深研究員。2010年入選 “百人計畫”並全職回國工作。

教學科研概述
在英國諾丁漢大學Grierson教授（英皇家學會院士）實驗室工作期間（94-95），發現了轉基因反向重複基因順序引起高頻高強度基因沉默，與2006年諾貝爾獎RNA干擾的研究類似且同年發表（1998），受到學術界廣泛重視，包括被《Cell》、《Plant Cell》等引用。之後又首次闡明了siRNA與靶基因mRNA降解的直接關係，論文被收入Faculty of 1000並被《Science》和《Genes and Development》等重要雜誌引用20多次。發表的SCI論文總引用次數超過100。
