非洲農林研究院成立,願景,使命,戰略目標,
非洲農林研究院成立
非洲農林研究院由浙江農林大學和國際竹藤組織聯合組建，旨在通過與非洲合作夥伴的合作，共同打造非洲農林業教育和科技合作平台，合作開展有關非洲農林業發展的科學研究和能力建設。通過南南合作推動中非農林業及相關領域的合作和交流，促進中非農林產業的可持續發展。
研究院依託農業、林業和其它自然資源，以竹、茶資源和文化研究為特色與優勢，全方面、多角度開展教育、科研、諮詢等工作。通過研究非洲農林業的發展狀況，探索中非農林技術方面合作的有效模式。
研究院立足浙江農林大學，借鑑結合中國其他教育科研機構和國際竹藤組織的成熟經驗，探索行之有效的農林科技合作和人才培養的有效模式。同時，利用國際竹藤組織遍布世界各地的成員國網路與合作夥伴關係，實施各種戰略合作項目，從而為中國與非洲國家之間的農林合作和共贏發展提供技術和政策等服務。
CAFOR Launched
CAFOR, jointly founded by ZAFU and INBAR, aims to forge an education and research platform on African agriculture, forestry science and technology with partners in Africa. The center will act as a base to conduct collaborative scientific research on African agriculture and forestry development, and build local capacities. Through this platform for South-South collaboration, the center will support sustainability of both China and Africa’s agriculture and forestry industries
Focusing on agriculture and forestry, with special emphasis on bamboo and tea resources, CAFOR will promote scientific education, research and consultation using a multi-disciplinary approach. Through studying the current development of African agriculture and forestry, CAFOR will explore effective modes for South-South agricultural technology cooperation.
Based at Zhejiang A & F University, CAFOR will use cumulative experiences from other Chinese education and research institutes and INBAR, to identify effective modes for agricultural technology cooperation and training. Building on INBAR’s international network and partnership, CAFOR will develop various strategic cooperation programs to provide technology and policy support for agriculture and forestry, thus leading to win-win development solutions for China and African countries.

通過促進南南合作，滿足中國和非洲國家的發展需求。通過促進研究和開發竹子等特色農林業資源的潛力，為中國和非洲國家實現糧食安全、環境保護和消除貧困的目標做出貢獻。
CAFOR’s Vision
CAFOR’s vision is to mobilize South-South collaboration to address the development needs of countries in Africa, with a primary focus on countries that have potential to develop bamboo and other relevant sectors. This work will be conducted within a framework of promoting food security, environmental protection and poverty eradication.

通過中非農林科技合作和文化交流，推動農林知識技術轉讓與傳播，提高科學研究與技術合作水平，促進中國和非洲農林產業的可持續發展。
CAFOR’s Mission
Through science and technology cooperation under South-South cooperation frame, CAFOR’s mission is to promote technology transfer and dissemination of agriculture and forestry knowledge; raise levels of scientific research and technological cooperation; and promote the sustainable development of the agriculture and forestry industry in Africa and China.
戰略目標
1、建成南南合作框架下中非農林業發展的研究和諮詢機構，更好地為中國政府對外（特別對非洲）的合作需求服務。
2、建成中國對非洲農林發展的科技支撐機構。促進浙江農林大學和國際竹藤組織的知識和技術能在南南合作中得到有效的套用。
3、建成非洲高等農林教育與能力建設的平台。為中國和非洲國家培養高層次、國際化的農林研發人才；
4、建成中非綠色經濟合作發展的信息和技術傳播平台。研究和出版有關非洲農林產業發展的論文、研究報告、諮詢報告和專著，提升國際竹藤組織和浙江農林大學的學術能力和國際影響力。
Strategic Goals
1. To establish a research and consulting institution supportive of South-South collaboration, especially between Africa and China.
2. To set up an institution supporting science and technology for agriculture and forestry in Africa that enables ZAFU and INBAR to provide their expertise on South-South collaboration.
3. To support African institutions of higher education in agriculture, forestry and capacity-building by training both established and young talented researchers.
4. To provide an information base for disseminating research results on the concept of the green economy, as well as data collection, that will enhance the academic quality and international status of the work of CAFOR research teams.
