陶劍,生於1968年11月8日,1986年入?>東北師範大學數學系學習,1990年保送本系碩士研究生。1999年9月入吉林大學數學所機率統計專業攻讀博士學位研究生,2002年6月獲得理學博士學位。博士期間研究的主要方向是生物統計(藥物劑量反應與毒性研究的統計推斷方法)。
