2007年在中國科學院水生生物研究所獲得博士學位。2007年7月進入四川大學基礎醫學與法醫學院寄生蟲學教研室從事病原生物的物種鑑定、系統發育、種群結構、生物地理學、協同進化及感染免疫研究,2011年7月評為副教授。2013-2014年公派至美國堪薩斯大學進行學術訪問。2018年9月評為研究員。
